how it all started

When I went to college, I was determined to become a kindergarten teacher. But just a few weeks into freshman year, I knew it wasn’t the right path for me. Fast forward to graduation—with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing—I knew my passion for people would still be put to good use, just not in the way I originally imagined.

My first marketing job was with a fantastic local HVAC business who gave me a taste of service-industry marketing. I was able to use all my knowledge and put it to use - everything from website design and logo creation to small-town networking and the value of showing up and working hard. Since then, I’ve worked with two full-service digital marketing agencies that specialized in the home services industry. I loved being an account manager in the agency space, but I wanted more control over the process and planning, while gaining flexibility to be present with my children while they’re still young.

We are a praying family, and after praying for direction and lots of long discussions, Front Porch Marketing was born. This business is a dream come to life: attainable, friendly, and easy-to-understand marketing for local small businesses. I saw the need clearly that many hardworking business owners in our area don’t have websites or active social media, and in today’s digital world, that’s essential.

Whether you’re a plumber, roofer, local salon, or auto body shop, my goal is to make digital marketing easy. With SEO-rich websites, a clear call-to-action, and a thoughtful strategy, customers can find you online, reach out, and let your team do what they do best.

"The name “Front Porch” comes from the idea that working with me should feel as comfortable as sitting on the porch with a friend, no confusing jargon, no big boardroom energy"

The name “Front Porch” comes from the idea that working with me should feel as comfortable as sitting on the porch with a friend, no confusing jargon, no big boardroom energy. Just genuine conversations, straight-forward strategies, and clear next steps.

It was inspired by afternoons spent on the porch swing of my Granny & Papaw's house in Cashes Valley, listening to the wind chimes and visiting with neighbors or family. That’s the kind of experience I'm here to offer - comfortable, approachable, effective, and rooted in real connection.

So pull up a seat. I’d love to hear your story, learn about your business, and help you grow.
